The 2026 SPCA Dog Walk and Pet Fair takes place on Saturday, May 16, 2026 at FDR State Park in Yorktown Heights NY from 10:00 am to 1:00pm. This family fun community event has something for everyone, both two-and-four legged. Attendees can take part in a trail walk with their dog and enjoy the Woof and Meowtown vendor village, music, food trucks, a doggy lure course and agility playground, kids’ activities, demos, and the SPCA’s adoptable animals who will be on-site. Entry fees are $20 per individual, $35 for a family of two or more, free if under 12, free if you raise $100+.
The Bronxville PTA Memorial Day Dog Show takes place on Saturday, May 23, 2026 from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm on the front lawn of the Bronxville School on Pondfield Road in Bronxville NY. The dog parade will walk around the school and return to the tent on the front lawn for winners in a variety of categories to be announced. Registration is available online or at the check-in table on the day of the event, where numbers will also be available.
With pet vendors, giveaways, food trucks, and engaging activities for all ages, the New Canaan Dog Days will be held on Sunday, May 31, 2026 at the New Canaan Nature Center from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm. Attendees can expect lure coursing, the Bone Bar, the Ice Cream Pawlour, scavenger hunts, and interactive experiences. Beyond the fun, the event provides an opportunity to meet adoptable dogs, supporting Adopt-a-Dog.
Scarsdale Paw-looza is on Sunday, June 14, 2026 from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm at Spencer Place at Chase Road in Scarsdale NY. It’s a fun-filled family event and pet extravaganza. Activities for two-and-four-legged attendees include a puppy cuddle station, doggy photo booth, biscuit and pup cup bar, nosework sniffari, kids activities, wishlist donation drive, and pets available for adoption from SPCA Westchester.
Paws Crossed Day is on Saturday, September 19, 2026 from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm at FDR Park in Yorktown Heights NY. There will lots of entertainment, activities for kids, food trucks, the dog and human donut eating challenge, live music, and of course dogs available for adoption!
Puttin’ On The Dog is on Sunday, September 27, 2026 from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm at Roger Sherman Baldwin Park in Greenwich CT. It is Adopt-A-Dog’s annual festival, which doubles as a fundraiser and an adoption event for multiple shelters in the area. There will be live music, demonstrations, dog competitions, a lure course, and lots of activities for dogs and pet lovers, as well as local vendors and food trucks.
Benefitting Lucky Dog Refuge, Lucky Pawlooza is on Saturday, October 10, 2026 from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm at Mill River Park in Stamford CT. There will be dogs available for adoption, food trucks, fun competitions, a dog run course, a 50/50 raffle, kid-friendly activities, the Maritime Aquarium's Touch Tank, local artisans and crafters, and interactive experiences for all ages.
