We are a 100% volunteer nonprofit organization founded by a dedicated team with decades of experience working with dogs, including prior leadership experience with therapy dog organizations. We train, certify, insure, and deploy therapy dog teams that bring comfort and connection to communities across Westchester NY and Fairfield CT counties.
Training classes are held at the SPCA Westchester in Briarcliff Manor NY and at the Round Hill Community House in Greenwich CT. With the support of our staff, we train teams under the guidance of our Fear-Free Certified Trainer, Sarah Bonomo (CPDT-KA, CSAT).
We are committed to the highest standards in screening, training, evaluation, and ongoing support of our teams. By working in close partnership with the facilities we serve, we ensure meaningful and impactful experiences for everyone who interacts with our volunteers.

We're always looking for kindhearted people with well-behaved dogs and a passion for service who would like to join our team of volunteer dog handlers. If you're interested in learning more about what we do and how you might become one of us, please reach out to Hello@TherapyDogBrigade.org.
Our teams visit a wide variety of locations in the area, including schools, senior living facilities, hospitals, social services and others. We also participate in local community events.
Are you interested in having our certified therapy dog teams visit your facility? We would love to talk with you to arrange ongoing or one-time visits to your location, so our dogs (and their handlers) can bring comfort and joy to your location. Please reach out to us Hello@TherapyDogBrigade.org.
